Position Overview As an Inspector 1st Shift – Level 2 located in Chandler, AZ, you will be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This is a fully on-site position; relocation is not available. Responsibilities Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. Use various measuring devices. Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of additional education and/or related experience. Availability to work 1st Shift 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. Experience in cable manufacturing and/or inspection. Ability to read engineering documentation and inspect to drawings and parts lists, inspection plans, and supplemental instructions. Strong work ethic and good attitude. U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Active or ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance. Experience with IPC or prior IPC certifications.
