Location & Shift Thompson Peak Medical Center, 7400 E Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255Shift: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, 7:00am – 7:30pm Compensation RAD General position with $10,000 sign‑on bonus available. Responsibilities Under the direction of a radiologist, this position performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The radiology technologist: Assumes responsibility for tasks or procedures as assigned and performs data entry operations using appropriate hospital software packages. Provides coverage at various locations within the network as required. Reviews patient identification, orders, and history to ensure correct patient, procedure, imaging site, and protocols with the radiologist as needed. Transports patients to and from the exam room and assists them into position using safe patient‑handling techniques and equipment. Performs radiology procedures and observes the patient during the procedure to ensure safety and comfort. Administers contrast materials as required and initiates an emergency response to contrast reactions, if necessary. Obtains and evaluates images for technical quality assurance factors, including image laterality marking and annotation, as required by radiology procedure protocols. Utilizes RIS, PACS, and other ancillary image‑management systems as needed and assists in coordinating the daily workflow for the department’s activities. Maintains equipment in efficient operating order, performs required quality‑control testing, and contacts service for repair and maintenance as directed. Rotates throughout the department as staffing and volume dictate. Participates in orientation, training, and in‑servicing of staff as necessary. Maintains an orderly, clean, and safe environment for patients and staff in the assigned area. Maintains stock and inventory as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma Completion of an ARRT‑accredited radiography program or U.S. military radiography training Experience Successful completion of radiologic training Relevant radiology experience Licensing & Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required ARRT‑American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – certification required; ARRT‑R credential and licensure must be provided prior to start date. Certified Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license – required prior to start date. #J-18808-Ljbffr
