Location Lake Worth, FL, and Fridays at Boynton Beach Position Summary The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager has day‑to‑day operational field management responsibility and authority over an assigned portfolio in supplying landscape maintenance services to industrial, HOA, and commercial clients. This role includes production and operations responsibilities. The Account Manager runs 1M to 3M in annual volume, with managerial responsibility over production staff. The position requires extensive landscape maintenance industry experience, complete horticultural knowledge, best practices of landscape maintenance for South Florida, sales experience, maintenance pricing knowledge, and strong people management skills, Excel, Word, database use as well as other technology platforms such as CRM and proposal databases. Responsibilities Provide workers with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines. Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety. Recommend changes in working conditions or equipment use to increase crew efficiency. Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements. Order the performance of corrective work when problems occur and recommend procedural changes to avoid such problems. Confer with other Account Managers, Production Managers and Supervisors to coordinate work activities with those of other departments or units. Operations and Processes – Manage resources in a cost effective manner, maximize operational efficiencies, improve processes and build a high growth organization while promoting revenue growth and profitability. Financial – Manage financial aspects from the top line to the gross margin line by managing job costs as it relates to labor and material use within assigned budgets and all costs; prepare and present reports and proposals. Customer Service – Embrace passion, service and mission of the company. Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and retention while developing new business. Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Attributes Spanish & Creole strongly preferred. Oral Comprehension – Ability to listen to and understand information presented verbally. Oral Expression – Ability to communicate information in speaking. Problem Sensitivity – Ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong. Multilimb Coordination – Ability to coordinate two or more limbs while performing tasks. Experience and Education At least three (2) years of experience as a commercial landscape maintenance account manager with a proven track record of success in account management, operations, people and resource management. Four year degree related to landscape preferred. Proven track record in growing a branch, sales and new business development. Demonstrated achievement of results.
