Job Description Job Description Job Summary The **Store and Print Manager** is responsible for the overall daily operations of the retail center with a strong emphasis on driving **print services** while ensuring exceptional customer service across all areas, including shipping, packing, mailboxes, and additional business services. This leadership role oversees team performance, operational efficiency, sales growth (especially in printing and finishing services), cost control, and full compliance with The UPS Store brand standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering world-class service. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing the center according to established procedures. - Oversee and drive all **print services**, including digital printing, copying, large-format printing, binding, laminating, scanning, graphic design support, and finishing services to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. - Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team: recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate associates. - Deliver and maintain outstanding customer service on every transaction, resolving customer issues promptly and professionally. - Monitor productivity, sales performance, and service quality across shipping/packing, print, mailboxes, and other revenue streams. - Control costs, manage inventory (print supplies, shipping materials, retail products), and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting. - Achieve sales targets and profit goals by promoting print and business services to both walk-in and business customers. - Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment that meets or exceeds brand standards. - Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on sales, expenses, and operations to the franchise owner. - Ensure full compliance with UPS shipping procedures, safety protocols, and all company policies. - Support business development initiatives, including local marketing for print and shipping services. -Obtain and perform the duties of a Notary Public (to be funded by the store owner) Required Qualifications and Skills - Experience**: 2–5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a shipping, printing, or similar service-based retail environment. Prior UPS Store or print center experience is a strong plus. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. - Strong knowledge of print operations, design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and print production workflows is highly preferred. - Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet applications, and point-of-sale systems. QuickBooks knowledge is a plus. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting. - Outgoing personality with a “can-do” attitude and a passion for sales and service. - High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or business-related coursework preferred. Physical Requirements - Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store throughout the shift. - Capable of lifting, bending, and carrying up to 50–75 lbs (boxes, packages, print materials). - Manual dexterity for operating print equipment, computers, and packaging tools.
