Supply planner

We are representing a logistics company to help support their supply chain. The Supply Planner will manage the balance between customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity. This role acts as the critical link between Sales and Production Control, optimizing the demand signal to purchasing, managing production schedules, and utilizing data systems (SAP) to maintain healthy inventory turns while eliminating backlogs. Responsibilities

• Demand & Supply Optimization: Analyze supply lines and apply APICS principles to establish optimal reorder points (ROP), safety stock levels, and economic order quantities (EOQ).
• Production Scheduling: Promptly generate and prioritize production orders to meet Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and final assembly schedules.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Buyers, and Warehouse Operations to streamline stock transfers and reduce past-due order backlogs.
• SAP Master Data Maintenance: Oversee data integrity in SAP by updating planning modifiers for standard part numbers and coding fields for non-standard requests.
• Performance Metrics: Measure, track, and report output and supply chain metrics to management; actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
• EHS Compliance: Maintain environmental and safety standards, including proper waste segregation/labeling, spill response protocols, and resource conservation (energy/water shutdown procedures).
