Full Time Clerical Nashville, TN, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 2645 General Summary of Duties Responsible for assisting the Executive Steward and Stewarding Department with managing and assisting with the cleaning and organizing of the Food and Beverage Outlets at the JW Marriott Nashville. Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following) Operate washing machine and dries items before returning them to their proper stock location Wash items by hand that will not fit in machine or not intended for automatic wash before drying and returning those items to their proper location Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware so that it can be run through the dish or pot machine properly Quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas as designated Keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards Operate burnishing machine to ensure proper finish on silverware De‑tarnish and polish silver for proper appearance Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans promptly and completely Perform additional duties and projects as assigned Position Requirements Ability to speak, read, write and understand English Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions Education High School education or equivalent preferred, but not required Typical Physical / Mental Demands Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time Physical strength and stamina are essential to this position due to the high activity level Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 100 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
