Schedule:

• 2 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 2 x 8-hour shifts per week
• Weekend and call rotation
• Flexibility to accommodate departmental needs

In this role, you will:

• Perform MRI procedures and utilize advanced imaging techniques for diagnostic interpretation by physicians
• Prepare and comfort patients, providing clear instruction to minimize anxiety and encourage cooperation
• Apply best practices in MRI safety for both patients and staff
• Select and operate MRI systems, coils, gating devices, and related equipment
• Position patients for optimal imaging while ensuring their safety and comfort
• Administer contrast media and maintain venous access as needed
• Follow aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout
• Evaluate image quality, manage digital data, and ensure records are maintained in PACS
• Deliver education and practical guidance to colleagues and students
• Respond effectively to emergencies using basic life support skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required)
• Experience as an MRI technologist
• Current ARRT Radiography and ARRT MRI registration
• Approved BLS certification
