Description - Your Day-to-Day Impact

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address issues as they arise, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for various tests as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new employees or trainees, and contribute to maintaining high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree prior to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), required within one year of hire.
• Must maintain certification during employment.
