Description - What You'll Do

• Ensure the accuracy of test results through thorough analysis, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document procedures meticulously, contribute to training new staff or students, and help maintain the lab's quality assurance standards.
• Uphold safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, along with preparatory certification for ASCP/AMT.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
