Description - What You'll Be Engaging With

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-following established protocols.
• Examine results for reliability, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prep samples for analysis when required.
• Record all procedures meticulously, mentor new personnel or students, and help maintain the integrity of lab quality standards.
• Uphold a tidy, secure workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an allied health discipline along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout tenure.
