Surgical Coordinator / Procedure SchedulerLocation: Hinsdale, ILJob Type: Full-TimeWork Setting: In-PersonSchedule: Monday-FridayPosition OverviewWe are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Surgical Coordinator to manage procedure scheduling, patient communication, and coordination with physicians and outside facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule procedures and coordinate physician calendars.Obtain required authorizations before scheduling.Confirm procedure dates, arrival times, and patient instructions.Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, clinical staff, and outside facilities.Reschedule procedures as needed.Conduct pre-operative calls and post-procedure follow-ups.Maintain accurate scheduling records in the EMR.Ensure required documentation is completed before procedures.Answer patient questions while maintaining confidentiality.Provide excellent patient service and communicate schedule changes promptly.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of medical scheduling experience required.Surgical scheduling experience preferred.Experience in pain management, orthopedics, surgery, or a specialty practice is a plus.Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.BenefitsHealth insurance.Dental insurance.Paid time off (PTO).Paid holidays.Supportive team environment.Opportunities for professional growth.For more details, you can reach Marcello Zeller View phone number on click.appcast.io OR View email address on click.appcast.io
