Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team, known for its commitment to exceptional patient care. You will operate cutting-edge ultrasound equipment to perform a range of diagnostic procedures while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to aid patients with timely and accurate imaging outcomes.

Description of Responsibilities

• Completing various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensuring the comfort and security of patients during procedures, detailing each step with compassion and clarity
• Working collaboratively with radiologists and referring clinicians to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintaining and operating imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Accurately logging procedures and conducting thorough patient record-keeping within the electronic medical system
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• A degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal capabilities
• Ability to work well either independently or as part of a diverse team
