Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout every procedure, providing clear and compassionate explanations
• Collaborate intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to produce superior diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
