What We Offer: Competitive salary of $45,000$52,000, based on experience Paid time off IRA retirement plan after 12 months of employment Reimbursement of medical insurance costs Hands-on training and mentorship in bookkeeping, estate administration, and probate processes Opportunity for growth and expanded responsibility based on interest and performance Stable, MondayFriday, in-office schedule with a supportive, tight-knit team Work with a firm recognized by clients for strong communication, attention to detail, and trustworthy service If You Have: Experience with QuickBooks A background in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting Experience in the legal industry (preferred, not required) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Strong spreadsheet and data organization skills Experience with project tracking tools A detail-oriented, organized, and consistent approach to work Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team You Will Be: Managing accounts payable for the firm using QuickBooks Tracking income and expenses across multiple estate accounts Assisting with the liquidation of estate assets Coordinating with vendors and service providers on real estate holdings within estates Communicating directly with heirs and beneficiaries on estate matters Preparing annual reports for submission to area probate courts Handling daily mail and bank runs Maintaining office supplies and general office organization Sharing front-desk and phone coverage when the receptionist is unavailable Learning new systems and processes as the role and firm evolve #J-18808-Ljbffr BOS Staffing
