Maintenance Technician Coordinator

Job Title

Trouble-shoot, repair and maintains machinery and equipment such as conveyors, sorters, electrical panels, balers, lifts, lighting, etc. by performing the following duties:

Ensures compliance with Lock-out/Tag-out (Zero Energy) requirements, Arc Flash requirements, and all applicable safety requirements

Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct PM's on mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment

Assigns work orders and PM schedules

Ability to troubleshoot, and work on system peripherals including PLC controls

Conducts daily walkthrough of facility noting deficiencies and initiating corrective action

Uses computers to document maintenance and PM actions and parts usage in Maximo (CMMS)

Communicate effectively at all levels within the facility

Assists in project management related to the entire facility

Ability to train others in mechanical, electrical, and facility level roles

Ability to work alternate schedules or weekends as necessary to fill vacancies, support project implementation, direct scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and repair activities.

Ensure proper and complete documentation of work orders for work performed by reports

Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to stand, walk, talk and hear. Ability to use hands, to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Ability to sit, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to work at heights of 40 feet. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs.

Must have visual acuity, corrected or uncorrected, which allows close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception.
