Lifetime Home Remodeling is looking for a dependable and motivated Assistant Warehouse Coordinator to join our new warehouse operations team in San Diego. This position plays a key support role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our installation and remodeling projects. Responsibilities

• Daily Support : Assist the Warehouse Coordinator in managing day-to-day warehouse operations and tasks.

• Inventory Management : Receive incoming shipments, verify packing slips, label products, and update inventory systems accurately.

• Order Preparation : Pick and pack materials for job sites, ensuring accuracy and condition of all outgoing goods.

• Shipping & Receiving : Help unload deliveries, store materials safely, and prepare orders for shipping or site delivery.

• Warehouse Organization : Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

• Documentation : Maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system and assist with weekly cycle counts.

• Communication : Coordinate with install teams, project managers, and the warehouse coordinator regarding material needs and inventory updates.

• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols, helping to maintain a hazard-free environment.

• Cross-Training : Learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; support in training new team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience : 1-2 years in warehouse, inventory, or logistics support preferred.

• Skills : Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail; comfortable using computers and inventory software.

• Team Player : Willingness to learn, take direction, and support others in a collaborative environment.

• Certifications : Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting : Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs regularly.

• Mobility : Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for long periods.

• Environment : Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varied temperatures and noise levels.

• Dexterity : Capable of handling equipment, scanning inventory, and managing documentation.
