Position Overview

Academic Family Medicine with Purpose, Balance, and Impact. Join Guthrie Lourdes Hospital as a Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician where education, mentorship, and patient‑centered care come together. Core Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in the overall organization, implementation, and supervision of the educational program and curriculum areas as assigned.
• Participate in the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, counseling, evaluation, and advancement of residents within the Family Medicine Program.
• Function as an advisor and meet with advisee residents at least quarterly.
• Document resident performance in accordance with Medicare guidelines.
• Provide input in the bi‑yearly evaluation of residents.
• Attend all assigned faculty, resident and curriculum committee meetings, mandatory annual educational programs, and all required departmental meetings as mandated by the Program Director.
• Comply with work‑hour restrictions in accordance with ACGME and NYS guidelines.
• Complete resident evaluations and submit them to the Office of Graduate Medical Education in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements

• DO/MD degree required.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine.
• Commitment to resident education with a passion for teaching and mentoring future family medicine physicians.
• 0.4 FTE clinical, 0.4 FTE precepting, and 0.2 FTE administrative time.
• Fully integrated EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive base salary of $275,000. Starting bonus and student loan forgiveness offered. Relocation and Transition
