Strategic Buyer & Supplier Relations Lead

Responsibilities Process purchasing requests into purchase orders, maintaining communication with suppliers and internal customers, from order placement to receipt, to ensure vendor quality and schedules are met Expedite orders where necessary and update ERP system to reflect order status Interface with production planning, warehousing, program management & other stakeholders to ensure sufficient stock availability to support uninterrupted production. Locate new sources of supply and maintain good working relationships with vendors and manufacturers Review & set up new suppliers and evaluate performance of existing suppliers Identify opportunities to reduce cost through negotiations and supplier selection Participate in projects procurement and in some cases, management of sub-projects within a defined framework Co-operate and co-ordinate, within the scope of task, with suppliers, managers and internal customers. Support and act as backup for other team members in their tasks Maintain and enhance operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity Perform other duties as assigned by manager #J-18808-Ljbffr Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd.
