Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float between multiple campus locations as needed to meet staffing demands
• Fulfill holiday coverage requirements as scheduled, including designated holiday dates

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to work night shifts on a consistent basis
• Willingness to float between multiple facility locations
• Availability to work every other weekend as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Familiarity with Med/Surg patient populations in a hospital environment
