Senior Electrical EngineerWork Flexibility: HybridAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of multidisciplinary R&D team where you will own the electrical hardware design for complex neurosurgical consoles.What You Will DoDesign and develop electrical components and sub-systems for medical devicesApply advanced circuit and electrical system test methodsConduct or design prototyping and bench testingConduct problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirementsConduct research and studies to support product designTranslate design inputs to engineering specifications and produce component and sub-system level designsFollow fundamental industry standards, design requirements and test strategies which apply to regulatory requirementsIndependently create or refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History fileFollow R&D procedure like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management SystemWork cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success as a key member of the team, collaborating with others and solidifying relationshipsWhat You Need (Required Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline PLUS 2+ years of work experiencePreferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired)Working knowledge of electrical design process, electrical components, and manufacturing methodsAbility to interpret, analyze, and test electrical designsProficiency with design and concept generation CAD, CAE, or simulation toolsAbility to apply analysis tools and statistical methodsKnowledge of system components and associated requirementsUnderstanding of the system lifecycle and effects of design choices on the systemQuickly process and assimilate procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology requiredWork on complex problems, applying advanced experience and learningsDemonstrate ownership and prioritize work with minimal supervisionBuild relationships and influence among peers$77,700 - $129,500 USD AnnualTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
