VDC BIM Coordinator

Our client in Naugatuck, CT is seeking a VDC BIM Coordinator for a Consulting to Right To Hire arrangement. Our client will also consider candidates who are only interested in Direct Hire and cannot consider candidates who are only interested in Contract assignments with no Right to Hire.

The VDC BIM Coordinator will be responsible for, and not limited to: Managing the project coordination process, accessing contract documents in Procore, creating realistic models utilizing construction software (Revit, Trimble SysQue, Navisworks, Procore), attending all necessary project meetings, and interacting with all key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project. The VDC BIM Coordinator must have Construction and Mechanical Contracting related experience and strong knowledge and experience with Revit and Trimble's suite of tools / applications (Trimble SysQue, Trimble Total Station, etc).


To be considered, you must have:

• Strong knowledge of, and experience with, Modeling Tools such as Revit, Trimble SysQue, Navisworks, and Procore, as well other software including Trimble Business Center and the Microsoft Suite of applications
• Experience working on projects focused on mechanical systems in a construction environment
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be onsite daily, attend client facing meetings offsite, as well as engage with Field Foremen and Prefab Shop staff

Nice to have:

• Hands on experience utilizing Trimble Total Station on construction sites
• Experience and involvement with the Prefabrication Process on MEP Construction Projects
