TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Florence, South Carolina, 29505!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred License: Multi-State/Compact RN license or South Carolina RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Candidates who are able to work holidays are a priority. Call rotation is required. Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 preferred. Description: RN needed for medical surgical/general surgery unit. Candidates may work 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, with a preference for 4x12. The unit has a weekend and holiday rotation, as well as a call rotation. Patient diagnoses include general surgery, with a focus on procedures such as thyroidectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and more. Candidates with prior charge experience are preferred. Previous experience in an acute care facility and familiarity with Epic charting system is required. Skills such as managing ports, blood product administration, and hemodialysis management are important. All travelers should be aware that during the hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should ensure they can commit to the full duration without planned time off that could prevent completion of compliance pre-start.
