Medical Assistant Certified

This position supports the Craniofacial, Plastic Surgery, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery clinics. Responsibilities include performing individualized patient procedures, treatments, and tests; chart preparation; stocking clinic supplies; answering telephones; and providing advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring clinic flow. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent experience Required Credentials Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH). Current Interim Certification through WA State can be substituted for up to 12 months from issue date. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS). Preferred Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification (eligible for premium) Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, and/or Medical screening and immunization Compensation Range $26.51 - $39.76 per hour Benefits Seattle Children’s offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
