Were Looking For:

• 
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  
  



• 
  Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  
  



• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  
  



• 
  Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred
  
  

What Youll Do:

36 hours/week, Monday: 0900-5:30 PM, Tuesday: 0900-5:30 PM, Wednesday: 0800-4:30 PM, Thursday: 0900-5:30 PM, Friday: 0900-5:30 PM, Clinic is closed on weekends.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

At Aurora Southern Lakes Surgery Center, our surgeons diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions affecting almost any area of the body. We provide individualized treatment plans for everyone from patients considering elective surgery to those who need surgical procedures because they are critically ill or injured. We use minimally invasive types of surgery whenever possible and are also equipped for open surgery when needed. (Locations will be at both Southern Lakes in Burlington and Waterford clinic. -

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• 
  Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday.

  Must be able to:

  lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
  
  



• 
  lift up to 20 lbs over the head.

  carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.

  push/pull with 30 lbs of force.

  perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with a second person present.

  Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids. Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.

  Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.

  Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
