Vice President - Surgical Services

Schedule
Full-time • Days (No Weekends)

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree required
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive Surgical Services oversight within an acute care setting required
- CVOR experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality, patient-centered care through effective management of surgical services.
- Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration within the surgical department.
- Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory standards; develop and implement necessary policies and procedures.
- Oversee effective patient throughput and care delivery, including volume forecasting and admission/discharge planning.
- Develop employee engagement and retention strategies to build a talented workforce.
- Participate in annual budget processes and monitor performance against financial benchmarks.
