Responsibilities Lead and manage the commissioning process for data centre projects, ensuring all systems are operational and meet project specifications. Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in alignment with project requirements. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of commissioning activities into the overall project timeline. Conduct inspections, testing, and validation of mechanical, electrical, and IT systems to ensure compliance with design and operational standards. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed. Prepare detailed reports and documentation, including commissioning progress updates, test results, and handover packages. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the commissioning phase. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction with the final deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Extensive experience in commissioning management, preferably within data centre or mission-critical environments. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and IT systems commonly used in data centres. Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders. Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to data centre commissioning. Professional certifications such as LEED, PMP, or CxA are highly desirable. Day-to-Day Oversee daily commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect installations, and address any on-site challenges. Review and approve commissioning documentation, including test scripts and checklists. Facilitate meetings with project teams, contractors, and clients to discuss progress and resolve issues. Provide technical support and guidance to ensure the successful execution of commissioning tasks. Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation for handover.
