Business Assistant About Us Dental Care of Round Lake Beach is looking for an experienced Business Assistant to join our team. What You’ll Do Greet patients and give them a warm, welcoming front-office experience Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar Check patients in and out and keep their records accurate Verify insurance, explain treatment costs and collect payments Answer phones and keep the front office running smoothly Work closely with the doctor and clinical team What We’re Looking For At least 1 year of dental office experience (required). Business Assistant experience at another dental office is ideal. Experience with Dentrix (preferred) Strong customer service and communication skills Organized, reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced office A positive, team-first attitude Schedule (regular, full time) Monday and Tuesday: 8:40 AM - 6:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Pay Pay of $17–$25/hr, based on experience Why Heartland Dental? Preferred Experience 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable Dentrix or other dental software experience Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
