Litigation paralegal

An established Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, is looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Litigation Attorneys in managing client files from Litigation through Settlement
• Conduct Litigation Intake to ensure initial discovery information is obtained
• Communicate with opposing counsel, adjusters, court clerks, and experts
• Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases
• Interview clients and witnesses, and prepare summaries of their statements
• Provide clients with regular case updates
• Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys
• Draft legal documents including routine discovery, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories
• File motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures (e-filing for state and federal cases)
• Draft Notices for Depositions, Mediations, Hearings, etc.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including attending trials and hearings
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Proven experience in legal support or litigation assistance
• Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year
