Senior Software Consultant

Software ConsultantAs a Software Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with the implementation, customization, and optimization of software solutions. Your expertise in Linux, Python/PHP, JavaScript, and Android devices will be essential in providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and delivering high-quality software solutions to meet client needs.Responsibilities:Utilize your proficiency in Linux to deploy and configure software applications.Develop and customize software solutions using Python, PHP, and Typescript based on client specifications.Collaborate with development teams to implement and integrate solutions.Provide technical assistance and support to clients during the implementation and post-implementation phases.Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues promptly.Conduct training sessions to educate clients on the effective use of software solutions.Create documentation and user manuals to support training initiatives.Work on integrating software solutions with existing systems and databases.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure software meets client expectations and industry standards.Identify and report bugs or issues to the development team.Stay informed about the latest advancements in software development, Linux, and Android technologies.Provide recommendations for improvements based on industry best practices.Minimal travel to local customer sitesQualifications:Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.Familiarity with Android devices and mobile applications.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to resolving customer issues.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in one of Java, PHP, TypeScript programming languages.Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Understanding of software development methodologies.Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role is a plus
