# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Cardiac ICU – Colorado

Start Date: October 15, 2026

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4 shifts per 4-week schedule including weekend rotation. Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:2 for critical care.

• 10-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU specializing in congenital cardiac patients and medical neonates
• ECMO Center utilizing advanced equipment including Centrimag, Prismax, Arctic Sun, and more
• EMR: Meditech; Phillips monitors, Med Fusion and Baxter pumps
• Travel contract opportunity with a highly engaged team averaging 10 years nursing experience
• Collaborative environment with board-certified pediatric/congenital heart intensivists
• Strong culture of safety and evidence-based practice with high team engagement scores

Requirements:

• Active Colorado RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years Cardiac Critical Care experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Peritoneal dialysis and CRRT skills preferred
• ECMO bedside experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and flexibility skills

Typical Procedures & Patient Population:

• Post-operative congenital cardiac care including inotropic and vasopressor infusions

• Moderate sedation management
• Care for medical neonates and cardiac patients with complex needs
