Partnering with senior leadership and teams, the position will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and teams, assessing and anticipating talent initiatives across the business to drive productivity and growth. The position is responsible for the full scope of HR partnership from talent management, employee experience, workforce planning, talent mobility, employee relations and performance management.This opportunity is ideal for individuals who build trusting and effective relationships, understand the link between business success and People initiatives, and execute for impact.ResponsibilitiesPartner with leaders and team members to cultivate a people‑focused culture that results in highly engaged/high-performing teams.Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, coaching them on people challenges, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness to elevate leadership capabilities and improve team performance.Interpret the business needs of the client groups served and translate these needs into a people strategyCoach leadership team members to successfully manage cyclical people management processes (talent management, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).Champion initiatives that support the success of the organization’s growth and reinforce a collaborative, aligned, and engaged cultureDriving organizational effectiveness by effectively participating in, and at times, leading projects, partnering with HR Centers of Excellence and the businessAdvise on performance management processes, including coaching, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans, to help resolve employee issues and maintain a high level of performance across teamsProvide training to managers on best practices for managing teams and promoting a positive workplace cultureWork with leaders to drive organization design and workforce planning initiatives including alignment of resources to top priorities and building capabilities to achieve business objectivesConduct exit interviews and provide leaders with value‑add feedback.Participate in employee‑driven activity committees/resource groups.Build an environment of trust by developing strong relationships with team members and leadership teams.Bring innovation and diversity of thought to achieve goals and objectives.Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law; make recommendations as needed.Work closely with a fun, passionate, dynamic People team to deliver ambitious people projects in a fast‑paced environment.Requirements5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Business Partner role,preferably in the tech/software industry Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related degreeEnergetic professional who can effectively assess needs, identify potential options, and effectively deliver the agreed-upon solutionStrong working knowledge and experience with multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational design, employee relations, employee engagement, talent management and development, performance management and general employment lawsExceptional interpersonal skills: approachable, tactful, ability to influence others, and to exercise sound judgment and discretionDemonstrated ability to design, lead, and execute initiatives aligned to HR strategyStrong business acumenWorking experience with HCM, Workday preferredAbility to work both tactically and strategically to meet business needsExceptional verbal and written communication skills; training and presentation experience preferredPositive, optimistic, action‑oriented individual with a “can‑do” mentality.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite#LI-JM1Committed to diversity and inclusionAt Manhattan, it’s about more than just the work.
