Senior Machinist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who is comfortable working independently with both manual and CNC equipment and can take projects from setup through completion.
Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses and other machining equipment
• Set up, program and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
• Machine parts to required dimensions and tolerances
• Use calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area

Ideal Candidate

• Several years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with manual mills and lathes
• CNC setup, operation and programming experience
• Ability to read blueprints and work to precise tolerances
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
