Job Title: Data Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Stellar’s and our clients data architecture and infrastructure. The Data Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and will play a critical role in helping our clients and Stellar scale our data capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven initiatives for Stellar and our clients Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop scalable data solutions Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and database architectures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency Expertise in Snowflake is required Experience in data analytics and BI including expertise with Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx and similar applications a plus Monitor data quality and proactively identify and address data-related issues Design and implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, data models, and data dictionaries Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data engineering and related technologies Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to provide access to high-quality, reliable data Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and database architecture design 3+ years experience with Snowflake is required Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, as well as experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and data modeling Familiarity with cloud-based data processing and storage platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP Additional expertise with on premise storage environments a plus Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative data engineering solutions Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience with data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA is required Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and expertise with Sigma computing a plus If you are passionate about data engineering and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Data Engineer at Stellar.
