About This Office

Biltmore Dental Group is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our connected and welcoming team in Asheville, North Carolina. We are open to new graduates and experienced hygienists, with a preference for full-time availability, though part-time schedules can be discussed. If you are a team player with an honest, positive personality, we would love to meet you.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Dental Hygienist is responsible for delivering high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care while creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventive care
• Performing periodontal assessments, charting, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Educating patients on oral health, preventive strategies, and home care techniques
• Working collaboratively with doctors and team members to support individualized treatment plans
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
• Supporting office goals through teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Helping foster a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and teammates

Qualifications

• Active or pending North Carolina Dental Hygiene license
• New graduates welcome; experienced hygienists encouraged to apply
• Full-time availability preferred; part-time opportunities open for discussion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, reliable, and team-focused mindset
• Positive personality with a commitment to patient care and collaboration

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
