Role Responsibilities What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory examinations including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and diagnostics in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for processing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, offer training to new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) expected within the first year of employment.
• Continuous certification maintenance throughout your tenure.
