Description What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, all while upholding established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for ongoing testing as required.
• Carefully document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, secure work space while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
