Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing
• Administer medications as instructed by healthcare providers
• Document patient information and clinical data in EMR systems
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendar logistics
• Provide clinical support during examinations and treatments
• Educate patients on care plans and health maintenance
• Verify insurance coverage and process related documentation
• Maintain medical inventory and ensure proper supply levels

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in medical assisting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy skills
• Experience with patient scheduling
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
