Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Johnson, AK Job Description Registered Respiratory Therapist (Nights) Pay Scale $30.29/hr. + DOE (Includes $3/hr. Shift Differential) Shift Nights Our client, a reputable healthcare facility, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for night shifts. The successful candidate, licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in the state of Arkansas, will play a vital role in providing high-quality Cardiopulmonary Services. Responsibilities Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved protocols and departmental policies. Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, and pulmonary function studies. Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain airways for patients. Conduct pulmonary and cardiac stress tests, as well as analyze and interpret blood gases. Collaborate effectively with the medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Requirements Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy. Board certification or registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Arkansas state license to practice Respiratory Therapy. Current AHA or ARC BLS certification, STABLE, PALS, BRP, and ACLS, or ability to acquire within 13 weeks of start. Proven experience in respiratory therapy, including proficiency in ventilator management and various diagnostic procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
