Now hiring servers at Josephine Street in the Pearl District! We are looking for friendly servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences by attentively interacting with our guests. Where you will work - Josephine Street

Located in the carefully restored and historic Fincke's Meat Market (circa 1906) building, Josephine Street is the humble spot every San Antonio local loves. A staple just steps from the Pearl District, Jo Street is true to its roadhouse roots, with booths welcoming outlaws and in-laws, the wanderers and the loyalists.

What you will do

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Educate guests on menu items and special deals and provide recommendations as requested
• Take, review, enter, and provide food and beverage orders to/from our guests
• Handle cash and credit card payments utilizing the ALOHA POS system, entering tip reporting accurately
• Perform additional duties as required of the position and the shift, including but not limited to rolling silverware, dish cleaning, and sanitary housekeeping when necessary to meet the needs of the customers and the business

What you bring - minimum qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid and current TABC and Food Handlers certification
• Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including weekends and holidays - Sunday availability is required

Physical requirements and working conditions

• Must be able to stand and walk for 6 or more hours in a day
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and over 50 lbs. with assistance
• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and walking
• Exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and extreme hot/cold temperatures
