POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting and driving Quality within Manufacturing operations at A.T. Wall, as well as supporting the day‑to‑day QA dept functions including inspection and MRB. Focus on targeted Manufacturing Quality objectives with the aim of improving first pass yield, repeatability and scrap reduction. Ensuring that products, processes and measurement equipment meet established standards of quality, safety, and performance, whilst maintaining compliance to ISO 9001 requirements. Perform internal audits, and liaise with Customers, Suppliers and 3rd party auditors as needed. The Technician will also participate in the development of training for manufacturing and QC and Mfg. personnel, and work closely with production teams to resolve issues, ensure compliance with requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and knowledge of quality control processes are essential in this position. Understanding Quality Compliance standards and principles, and ways to achieve them Logical and Critical thinking - can make rational decisions based on data and risk Understanding of basic Quality Tools, including Root Cause Analysis, Pareto, fishbone, 5-why and PFMEA Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions Emotional Intelligence - able to stay calm and think clearly, in times of uncertainty or stress Key Areas for Training Operations/Quality ERP System Calibration Train, and document (as needed) work instructions for processes within department(s) Develop a thorough understanding of the ISO 9001 framework Accountabilities Perform inspection duties per Inspection job description Perform in-house testing including but not limited to Hydrostatic testing Perform Gauge calibration per schedule, coordinate 3rd party calibrations and maintain calibration records and tracking systemMaintain and run MRB Process, and ensure items in quarantine are processed in a timely manner Perform, review and approve First Article Inspections in accordance with Customer and Industry requirements Perform and document audits of Manufacturing and Support processes, in accordance with internal and ISO 9001 requirements Assist in Supplier Quality activities, including requesting and administrating supplier qualification / monitoring documentation. Assist in production improvement and defect reduction projects as necessary Support and assist in customer and 3rd party audits Identify and assist with training efforts in support of Quality, Manufacturing and Compliance objectives Assist with Customer Quality support and requests for information, as required Ensure and maintain good record keeping and traceability practices, per customer and ISO 9001 requirements Participate in creation and updating of procedures and forms as needed, in accordance with Document Control processes Self-Management Support, comply with and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures Embraces personal challenge Confident, rounded thinker Is self-aware, resilient, assertive and open to change Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together Actively Committed to team development High levels of motivation, optimistic and action orientated Applies logic and emotional intelligence to decision‑making. #J-18808-Ljbffr
