A Carpenter Foreman requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of extensive journey-level carpentry experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities to supervise crews. Key qualifications include proficiency in reading blueprints, knowledge of building codes, strong safety compliance, and the ability to manage project timelines and materials.

Key Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry, with specific experience in framing, remodeling, or finish carpentry.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, training, and scheduling crews, and delegating tasks effectively.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety procedures.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing crews, reporting to superintendents, and filling out paperwork.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve on-site, field-related issues.
- Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license is required for driving to sites.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–90 pounds, work at heights, and operate in various weather conditions.
- Technology: Basic computer skills or experience with project management software may be required
