Job Summary: Tryfacta is seeking an RN Wound Care for our client in Apple Valley, CA92307. This is a 13‑week contract assignment. First‑time travelers are accepted. Position Details: Position: RN Wound Care Location: Apple Valley, CA92307 Shift: Day 3×12‑hour (11:00–23:30) Duration: 13 weeks with high possibility of extension Experience Required: 2 years in a hospital setting Floating Preferred: depends on skills Weekend/Holiday: Block schedule Thurs‑Sat; option for flexibility M‑Sat; no Sundays No Call Requirements: No Preferred Certifications: ACLS (preferred), BLS (required), Wound Care Certification or WOCN, EPIC preferred Qualified First Timers: Yes with at least 5 years experience On‑call: No Pending License Accepted: No Responsibilities: Providing specialized wound care management including wound assessment, dressing changes, wound cultures, and symptom management. Performing and assisting with wound treatments such as alginates, foams, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, silver products, skin substitutes, and wound VAC therapy. Assisting with debridement procedures including mechanical, enzymatic, autolytic, and sharp debridement. Monitoring and managing alterations in skin integrity and mucous membranes. Conducting ulcer and skin risk assessments using Braden Scale and other prevention assessment tools. Identifying and managing risk factors affecting skin integrity and wound healing. Providing continence evaluations and assisting with urodynamic and diagnostic procedures. Supporting advanced therapies including electrical stimulation and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Educating patients and caregivers on wound care, prevention strategies, and treatment plans. Maintaining accurate documentation of wound progress, treatments, and patient responses.
