Product Developer

KEY PURPOSE:
The main goal of the Product Developer is to develop a high-quality standard product while maintaining and managing costs, following dates on calendar, and managing overseas vendors thru the development process. This position will utilize problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills to help oversee the day to day development. This role will work on special projects as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow between design, development, raw materials, and overseas vendors.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources and departments.
• Evaluate and validate product data attributes in PLM system including BOM management throughout the development cycle.
• Responsible for tracking approvals on print, color, trim, and other materials to keep on-time calendar.
• Plan and coordinate development activities to ensure timely completion based on seasonal GTM calendar milestones (submittals, sampling, etc.).
• Identify & escalate any potential break downs during the product life cycle to relevant business managers. Help identify solutions and relay the solve to relevant business teams.
• Communicate daily with overseas business stakeholders and vendors on all product development matters.
• Participate in management of Supply KPI and Operational Excellence reporting with contributions from appropriate supply team members.
• Thrives in fast paced environment.
