Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Geneva, NY (onsite)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
About the Role
Spectrum Careers is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the finance team at a local medical facility. Youll handle the full AP cycle in a fast-paced healthcare setting, making sure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices: review, code, and enter them
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (2- and 3-way match)
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors, purchasing, and department staff
- Prepare and process check, ACH, and wire payment runs
- Maintain vendor files and answer vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements and research past-due or missing invoices
- Process employee expense reimbursements and check requests
- Support month-end close and help with audit requests as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with an ERP or accounting system; healthcare or hospital AP is a plus
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Good communication skills and comfort working with vendors and internal departments
- Able to work onsite full time in Geneva, NY
