With “best in class” service to our valued clientele a treasured tenet, we are seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join a team of highly skilled employees.  The successful candidate will be personable, work well in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate true accountability as a valued member of the team. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and works in a well-appointed office in a northwest suburb of Chicago.

Duties:

Create investment proposals
Account opening, service requests and ongoing maintenance
Track and closely follow asset movement
Support the financial planning process
Keep detailed notes of client correspondence and required actions
Other general administrative duties as assigned

Experience:

2+ years administrative experience (required)
2+ years financial services experience (required)
Life and Health License, and Series 6/7 Registered (can be obtained on the job)
Proficient with investment trading systems and processes (can be acquired or enhanced on the job)
Adept with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and various software (required)
Familiarity with financial planning tools, Wealthscape, Envestnet, DocuSign and CRM (preferred)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly detail-oriented with superior time management skills
Works well under pressure and meets established objectives and deadlines
Team player with the ability to adapt to change
Works collaboratively and independently
Takes initiative
Proficient in use of computers and technology
