Restaurant Host/Hostess

As Harbor View Hotel enters its 135th year of providing memorable luxury services to our guests, we are seeking a Restaurant Host/Hostess for the 2026 summer season who will work between our three restaurants: Bettini, Behind the View and Roxy Pool Bar.

Position Dates: May - September

Employee Housing: Not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests in a polite and professional manner and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner
• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• Be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
• Other relative tasks assigned by Management.

Desired Qualifications:

• High energy, exceptional customer service and ability to work as a team
• Strong verbal communication skills to be able serve guests and accurately follow instructions
• Commitment to work 40 hours per week
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to repetitively stand, walk, bend, kneel, and ascend and descend stairs and lift over 20 pounds
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
