Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months. • 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred. • 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division. Additional Details: Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro experience preferred. Unit Details: Neuro Med Surg unit caring for a neuro patient population. Day shift: 2 charge nurses without patients, 4-5:1 RN ratio, 2 PCT. Night shift: 1-2 charge nurses depending on staffing, 4-5:1 RN ratio, 2 PCT. Patient ratios: 5:1 or 6:1, estimated never guaranteed. Uses IV pumps, seizure monitoring, BiPAP, CPAP (mostly at night), and glucometer. Typical procedures include NIH/stroke assessments, neuro assessments, trach care, and feeding tubes. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
