We are looking for an experienced GTM or Generalist Recruiter for a 6-month engagement with potential conversion to full-time in February. You are looking for a place to contribute with your knowledge of the talent market, effective stakeholder management skills, business acumen, and drive. Hybrid engagement 3 days/ week in our San Mateo, CA office is required for this role.

What you will do

• Manage a variety of requisitions from source to hire across multiple areas in the business.


• Find, engage, and activate passive candidates using our tech stack of Gem, LinkedIn, BrightHire and Greenhouse.


• Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.


• Partner with our business leaders to help them understand the talent market and to align talent to their business needs.


• Develop strong relationships with candidates, understanding their needs, and maintain high-quality communication throughout the hiring process, regardless of the outcome.


• Lead interview teams through kickoffs, check-ins, and debriefs, providing support in their hiring decisions.


• Utilize data from Greenhouse to inform hiring activities and maintain the candidate pipeline.

• You enjoy collaborating successfully with hiring managers to create job descriptions, interview processes, and interview assessments


• You are able to utilize data to support recruiting goals and projections


• You are comfortable dealing with sensitive information in a discreet manner


• You are a self starter that works with curiosity, agency, and urgency


• You are adept at connecting the dots between work, requisition, and candidate


• You are a lifelong learner, always looking for ways to improve and to learn everything there is to know about the company, market trends, and the teams with whom you partner.

What you bring to the table

• 4+ years full-cycle recruiting experience, GTM recruiting is of special interest to us


• Proven track record sourcing and hiring passive candidates.


• Solid understanding of current competitive job market.


• Ability to craft compelling external messaging.


• Familiarity with relevant tools and programs (e.g., applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, referral programs, and job boards).

Pay Transparency

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $65 - $75/hour . This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market. We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs, which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.

This role will be hired as a Temporary Full Time employee. In addition to salary, this role will also be eligible for our Medical/Dental/Vision benefits, fully paid for the employee. Benefits can be enrolled at a subsidized rate. Paid sick leave is included as well.

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird. We also value collaboration and relationship building. With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum. Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule. Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
