Restaurant Supervisor:

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for identifying customer service issues, improvement opportunities, and works to develop and implement a world class customer service experience at DeRomo’s Restaurant. This position supervises the training and implementation of the Open Table process, oversees the private dining room and reservation process, as well as coordinates activities of implementing service standards for exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions:

1. Oversees the Private Dining Room booking process
2. Oversees the Open Table process including the training of host associates necessary to maximize revenue
3. Oversees customer expectations in answering questions, addressing complaints or service issues
4. Oversees the reputation report. Assists with resolves. Analysis of repetitive issues or common problems. Recommends process fixes. Shares a report synopsis with the managers and hosts.
5. Oversees the reservation process, including in season phone calls.
6. Serves as a role model when coaching associates on how to resolve complex, customer service issues.
7. Monitor and supervise the timely arrival of scheduled employees
8. Creates and trains for customer service standards. Provides leadership, support and coaching of the customer service team, emphasizing customer satisfaction and collaborative efforts.
9. Oversees and administers daily stand up/pre-shift meetings with the customer service team (hosts) to ensure associates have a firm understanding of daily business, company activities, policy, and expectation
10. Establishes tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplace and public spaces
11. Receives complaints and resolve problems
12. Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances
13. Maintains a professional image, including proper uniforms, and appearance standards
14. Ensures a safe working and customer environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
