DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Position located in the OCFO Office of Integrity and Oversight (OIO). OIO is responsible for accountability, integrity, and efficiency in the OCFO. The incumbent plans, directs, and administers all internal audit and internal security programs for the OCFO, provides independent review and appraisal of all OCFO programs, and assists in continuous improvement efforts.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Serving as first point of contact and OCFO representative on all law enforcement matters Acting as the OCFO’s liaison on audit related issues from the DC Auditor and DC Inspector General Monitoring OCFO compliance with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the DC code and/or laws Representing OCFO as the top management official for OIO and coordinating with senior managers from other OCFO and District of Columbia departments on matters of mutual concern Initiating and maintaining all programs and activities related to ensuring OCFO employees are trained, understand, and comply with the OCFO Code of Conduct and other ethics guidelines Performing other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Nine (9) years progressive experience, including three (3) years at managerial level, leading internal audit and security functions; overseeing audit activities; liaising with law enforcement and oversight entities; ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies in a large government agency or similar organization.
• Experience conducting and overseeing criminal and administrative investigations, expert knowledge of criminal investigative techniques, and designing and overseeing ethics and Code of Conduct training programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, public administration or related field from an accredited U.S. institution.
• Submit official transcript verifying bachelor’s degree. If applicable, provide foreign credential evaluation from an NACES or AICE member organization.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:
